Grants
The club’s Youth Work Fund Grant was established to support the work of 501(c)(3), non-profit agencies that directly benefit youth within the Siouxland community. Its goal is to strengthen the capacity of an organization to perform its work more effectively by improving their infrastructure allowing it to better serve their clients and associated communities.
Organizations interested in this grant must submit an application by the current deadline, after which three applications are selected and invited to present their needs at a Club’s general meeting for a final selection by membership vote.
The club’s Sergeant at Arms works to raise money for the selected project throughout the club’s fundraising year. He or She does this in various fun ways but the most noted means is by graciously enforcing fines on club membership for being mentioned in the newspaper, news outlets, or simply if their cell phone goes off during a meeting.
