New Youth Work Fund Project approved by Club

On Monday, September 16, we were treated to a great program put on by representatives from S.T.A.R.S., Community Action Agency, and The Children’s Museum. All three of these groups had submitted grant applications to the Sioux City Rotary Club for the 2013/2014 club fundraising year.

After the program was completed, Club members were able to vote on the projects and determine which one we would support with a check in July 2014. The project selected was from S.T.A.R.S. – and was presented by Stacy (picture taken by Bob Rasmus). Their project will be new storage sheds used for protection for the horses in their pastures and also as supplemental storage for hay. Rotarians will have an opportunity to volunteer their time as well for these great organization.

Thanks to all Rotarians who support worthy causes such as this to benefit the entire Siouxland Area!!
